Responsibilities
- Verify provider credentials and maintain licensure databases
- Coordinate with insurance payers for provider enrollment
- Conduct primary source verifications through NPDB and state boards
- Maintain accurate credentialing files and expiration tracking
- Prepare credentialing committee meeting materials
Requirements
- 2+ years of medical credentialing experience
- Knowledge of NPDB, CAQH, Board Certification, DEA and state licensing boards
- CVO (Credentials Verification Organization) experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with credentialing software systems
